Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Review unpaid invoices in the ETM System and identify potential problem areas
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims and analyze AR trends for errors
• Participate in meetings and communicate with supervisors regarding claims and adjustments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of medical billing experience preferred, focusing on research and claim denials
• Knowledge of physician billing, healthcare reimbursement, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Computer literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office
