Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative III (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages follow-up on unpaid claims, ensuring timely processing of billing errors and appeals
• Reviews daily correspondence, audits accounts for accuracy, and updates information as needed
• Maintains productivity standards while supporting the AR team and performs other job-related duties as requested

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required; associate degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years of health care claims reimbursement and denial resolution experience
• Knowledge of major commercial and Medicare/Medicaid payer guidelines
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
