Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to resolve claim issues and secure timely reimbursement
• Analyze denials and payment variances, drafting and submitting technical appeals
• Document activities accurately and communicate trends and issues to management

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, specifically collections
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in denial management
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, modifiers, and diagnosis codes
• Exceptional Excel skills for reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and payer-specific requirements
