Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join their healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review denied claims and execute corrective actions to secure revenue recovery
• Communicate with insurance representatives to negotiate settlements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Monitor denial trends and provide feedback to prevent recurring errors in billing and coding

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in account resolution
• Experience with billing and follow-up systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and billing regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and G Suite, especially Excel
