Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support insurance and patient billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Make calls to patients and insurance companies to research claims and obtain information
• Document account activity and follow up on unpaid claims to minimize aging accounts
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company standards while performing job duties

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing or billing
• Hands-on experience with insurance appeals and understanding of medical terminology
• Proficiency with billing software and payer portals
• EMS billing experience preferred, with other medical specialties considered
