Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance carriers on outstanding medical claims and collect past due amounts
• Maintain accurate aging of assigned accounts and conduct AR analysis and follow-up
• Create and follow up on appeals for denied or incorrectly paid claims

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience managing Accounts Receivable and direct follow-up with payers
• 3 years of experience with medical terminology, ICD10, CPT, HCPCs coding, and HIPAA requirements
• 2 years of experience with data processing, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• 3 years of experience working with commercial, government, and state insurance payers
