Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect revenue by working closely with insurance companies and third-party payers for surgical services
• Manage denials and corrected claims in collaboration with billers and insurance payers
• Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on patient accounts to maintain cash collection metrics

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Recent healthcare denials and appeals experience
• Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and medical policies from payers
• Healthcare experience required
• Strong preference for Laboratory and/or Pathology Accounts Receivable experience
