Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Insurance Specialist 1 with experience in Hospital Billing, Epic, Follow up, and Denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable in compliance with billing guidelines and payer rules
• Collect outstanding receivables through payer portals and phone lines
• Follow up on unpaid, rejected, and denied claims, and prepare appeals as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Experience in hospital billing and insurance claims processing
• Familiarity with Epic software
• Ability to handle confidential information in a HIPAA-compliant manner
• Experience with basic appeals and account resolution
• Knowledge of payer guidelines and billing regulations
