Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Specialist to support billing teams in ensuring prompt reimbursement for therapy sessions and managing outstanding accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with client-related data
• Review and follow up on A/R Aging Reports and outstanding claims with insurance companies
• Document follow-up work and communicate trends regarding denials to the Customer Billing Advocate (CBA)

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience in billing with major commercial insurance companies and state Medicaid programs
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
