Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of insurance agents, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will process payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records while working remotely in Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process agent payments daily, ensuring adherence to company collection policies
• Identify and resolve discrepancies within assigned agents, collaborating with senior accountants as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of agent information and respond to inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies or payment delays

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in operational accounting, specifically in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable (preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Ability to communicate effectively across all lines of business
• Experience with accounting systems and report management
