Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Reviewing unpaid invoices in the ETM System, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage claims inquiries with carriers and maintain accuracy in processing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review ETM worklist to identify and address potential problem areas
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims through various communication methods
• Analyze AR trends and report consistent errors that hinder proper claim processing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of medical billing experience preferred, focusing on research and claim denials
• Knowledge of physician billing, health care reimbursement, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
