Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Reviewing unpaid invoices in the ETM System, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage carrier inquiries and maintain accuracy in claims processing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review the ETM worklist to identify potential issues with unpaid claims
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims via phone or online
• Report consistent errors in AR trends that affect claims processing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of medical billing experience preferred, focusing on research and claim denials
• Knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
