Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate processing of claims, the full-time Senior AR & Case Management Specialist will manage accounts receivable functions, oversee denial management, and serve as a point of escalation for complex issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable by analyzing aged AR and implementing rules to prevent errors
• Investigate and resolve denial sources, including contacting payer representatives for appeals
• Drive achievement of departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through team collaboration

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 5+ years of experience in a physician medical billing office or equivalent claims experience
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers and ability to resolve complex claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with skills in pivot tables and formulas preferred
• Experience with Salesforce for case management preferred
