Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for verifying and posting both routine and complex payments, the full-time hourly Accounts Receivable Specialist will ensure accurate application of customer payments, process various payment types, and reconcile discrepancies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate application of customer payments to accounts based on service level objectives
• Processes and records all payment types, including ACH, wires, and lockbox activities
• Reconciles payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience
• Intermediate knowledge of PC-based application software, particularly Google Sheets
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Ability to independently seek process improvements and take ownership of professional development
• Must successfully pass a background investigation
