Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient billing operations, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will review and correct claims for accuracy, pursue full contractual reimbursement, and resolve claims issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue full contractual reimbursement on behalf of members
• Resolve accounts quickly and accurately, including follow-up on denials and appeals
• Conduct research and communicate with patients, insurance carriers, and claim adjusters as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in full-cycle medical billing or relevant education
• Ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and regulations
• Strong work ethic and reliability in attendance
