Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic Finance Operations team, the remote Accounts Receivable Specialist II will manage outstanding balances, investigate discrepancies, and support billing activities to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review outstanding Accounts Receivable balances and investigate issues impacting collections and cash flow
• Research claim, payment, and account discrepancies, including short payments and denials
• Assist with payment posting, cash application, account reconciliations, and follow-up on open balances

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related analytical field preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, finance, or a related analytical role preferred
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on open items
