Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Regional Accounting Team, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage AR transaction processing, generate client invoices, and collaborate with local operations and corporate finance teams, ideally based in or around the San Francisco area for occasional in-person collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Generate client invoices/statements and maintain AR sub ledgers in accordance with GAAP and company policy
• Manage collections of all AR for assigned location(s) and respond to inquiries from the location leadership team
• Conduct analysis of contracts and contract billing to ensure appropriate revenue and cost recognition

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on accounts receivable transaction processing experience
• Strong accounts receivable background with a basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growth stage environment with strong organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions
