Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare finance partners, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage billing, re-billing, post-payment reviews, and account follow-up for assigned EMR accounts in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and submit claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with contract criteria
• Conduct timely follow-ups with health plans to determine claim status and document all actions taken
• Research and validate paid claims, addressing any denials or discrepancies according to client agreements

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
• Advanced proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Professional-level skills in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
