Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist I will manage accounts receivable inventory, resolve denied claims, and analyze denial trends while adhering to established productivity and quality metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Research payer resources to obtain billing, claim, and payment information
• Resolve denied, underpaid, or rejected claims and collaborate with leadership to address issues
• Document account activity and follow-up actions while protecting confidential information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year or more of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related field
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• 1 year or more of healthcare revenue cycle management or healthcare billing experience is preferred
