Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing dermatology network, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage billing, claims issues, and denials while ensuring compliance and accuracy in patient accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve claim denials with minimal assistance
• Follow up on unpaid claims and prepare necessary documentation for payers
• Communicate accounts receivable issues proactively to management

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Education in medical billing or medical billing certification preferred
• Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus
• Understanding of revenue cycle principles, accounts receivables, and denial management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical information
