Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist I will review and resolve denied insurance claims, research payer requirements, and manage assigned Accounts Receivable inventory while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review, process, and resolve denied insurance claims in accordance with established SOPs
• Research payer requirements and communicate findings to leadership and partner teams
• Manage assigned Accounts Receivable inventory and ensure aged AR is worked according to departmental guidelines

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with insurance denials management or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
