Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments, process various payment types, and reconcile discrepancies while supporting the Team Leader with process improvements and training other specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Apply customer payments accurately and promptly based on service level objectives
- Process adjustments, write-offs, and refunds while collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies
- Monitor shared accounting inboxes and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency
Required qualifications
- Experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role
- Proficiency with payment processing systems and accounting software
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare journal entries
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and organizational security policies
- Familiarity with AI and automation technologies in operational processes
