Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support timely collections of patient accounts, the remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage aged accounts, ensure maximum payment from all payers, and maintain communication with branch personnel while working full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage market-specific performance metrics for Revenue Cycle Management procedures
• Communicate with field leadership regarding the status of collections and documentation
• Address denials and submit adjustments in an accurate and timely manner

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum six months of prior healthcare insurance experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel features
• Experience with Home Health Medicare billing and collections preferred
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries
