Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Billing department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on claim payment and resolve billing issues
• Manage insurance outstanding balances and collect receivable payments
• Review accounts, communicate with insurance companies, and provide education to team members

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of full-cycle medical billing experience or schooling
• 3 years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, Medicare, Medicaid, ICD-10, and CPT codes
• Ability to resolve payment issues and work with interruptions
• Healthcare compliance and terminology knowledge
