Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

An organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate billing on assigned claims in a timely manner and maintain control of claims billed and pending
• Follow-up on unpaid claims, submit necessary appeals, and document collection activity
• Work with EOB/remittance advices to identify denials or short paid claims and resolve credit balances

Required Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicare insurance billing and AR related duties
• Home Health - Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Medicare DDE computer billing system experience needed
• Must have good computer skills and valid proof of identification and employment authorization
