Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising the Accounts Receivable section remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Supervisor will manage third-party claims processing, oversee patient account collections, and coordinate with hospital personnel to ensure compliance with credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the processing of third-party claims and maintenance of patient accounts
• Approve transactions such as refunds and write-offs while evaluating insurance denials
• Prepare reports and analyses to identify trends and recommend improvements in the accounts receivable process

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or a directly related field, or equivalent experience
• Five years of progressive experience in an accounts receivable environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting may substitute for education and two years of experience
• Knowledge of clerical and accounting principles
• Experience with billing, collections, and insurance claims processing
