Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising the Accounts Receivable section, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Supervisor will manage the processing of third-party claims, oversee patient account collections, and coordinate with hospital personnel to resolve billing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities related to the processing and collection of patient accounts
• Evaluate and process insurance denials, and investigate special collection problems
• Plan and conduct meetings with staff to ensure compliance with policies and implement new procedures

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or a directly related field, or equivalent experience
• Five years of progressive experience in an accounts receivable environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting may substitute for education requirement with two years of experience
• Knowledge of clerical and accounting principles
• Experience with billing and collections processes
