Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead, Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding patient accounts and resolve billing errors and claim denials
• Generate reports on team performance and implement strategies to improve collection rates
• Mentor team members and conduct staff training in collaboration with the Project Manager

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of experience in hospital billing and collections, with prior leadership experience preferred
• Proficiency in billing software, electronic health records systems, and data analysis tools
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical billing or healthcare administration is a plus
• Ability to motivate the team and promote collaboration
• Demonstrated analytical ability to research and review patient accounts
