Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the remote Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee AR operations, manage a team of specialists, and ensure timely collections while maintaining client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of 4-5 AR Specialists, balancing workloads and providing guidance on collections strategies
• Monitor aging reports, ensure consistent follow-up on unpaid invoices, and assist in resolving payment issues
• Communicate AR status and updates to clients, sharing insights on payment trends and coordinating the resolution of discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or collections
• Solid understanding of AR processes, aging reports, and collections workflows
• Prior experience supporting or guiding teammates is a strong plus
• Confidence in handling challenging payment conversations
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership
