Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the management team, the remote Accounts Receivable Team Lead will coordinate activities within the Accounts Receivable department, assist global team members, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims while meeting departmental productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training and supporting Accounts Receivable Representatives and track their productivity and quality
• Follow up with payers to resolve outstanding claims and initiate appeals when necessary
• Analyze claims issues to reduce denials and correct medical billing errors

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in insurance collections for medical practices or facilities
• Knowledge of the denied claims and appeals process
• Experience with practice management systems, preferably EPIC PB, Allscripts, or Cerner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with basic Excel skills
