Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading the Accounts Receivable team in a fully remote capacity, the full-time salaried Accounts Receivable Team Lead will manage daily operations, including training, performance monitoring, and process improvement to enhance cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and communication to AR team members to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and account resolution
• Monitor AR work queues to meet productivity targets and key performance indicators, while identifying trends for process improvement
• Assist with performance management activities, providing coaching and feedback to team members on their AR performance

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months of relevant experience in accounts receivable or related field
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, payer guidelines, and billing systems
• Experience in medical billing, collections, or healthcare revenue cycle is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of performance metrics and manage team dynamics effectively
