Job Summary
As an Accreditation Specialist, this remote position will manage operations compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements regarding NCQA, develop and monitor accreditation activities, and educate staff on accreditation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners to collect data and develop compliance documents for successful accreditation surveys
- Monitor and maintain comprehensive compliance documents to ensure adherence to NCQA standards
- Coordinate accreditation surveys and serve as the point of contact during surveys to ensure all requirements are met
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a managed care environment, or 6 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of accreditation experience, including managing survey/review experience
- In-depth knowledge of NCQA standards and accreditation processes
- Experience using Total Quality Management (TQM) / Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) concepts
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products, including Outlook and Teams
