Acquisition Services Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Acquisition Services Buyer to work remotely for a government contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal customers to generate specifications and statements of work
• Negotiate and administer fixed price commercial item/service purchases
• Perform post contract administration duties and resolve issues related to supplier performance

Required Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience
• General knowledge of laws, regulations, and principles related to procurement
• Demonstrated Purchase Order/contract administration experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• General knowledge of technical standards and principles for purchase orders and simplified acquisitions
