Job Summary
A company is looking for an Acquisition Services Buyer to work remotely for a government contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal customers to generate specifications and statements of work
- Negotiate and administer fixed price commercial item/service purchases
- Perform post contract administration duties and resolve issues related to supplier performance
Required Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience
- General knowledge of laws, regulations, and principles related to procurement
- Demonstrated Purchase Order/contract administration experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- General knowledge of technical standards and principles for purchase orders and simplified acquisitions
