Job Summary

A company is looking for an Acquisition Specialist to manage multiple acquisition efforts and support project management training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct acquisition planning and strategy development, including market research and documentation support
  • Generate and maintain databases for subcontracting actions and procurement requests
  • Support the development of project/program managers through training and mentoring initiatives

Required Qualifications and Education
  • Must possess a degree and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Certification Required: PMP or a comparable certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Must be a professional self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in both traditional and Agile environments is desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel
