Job Summary
A company is looking for an Acquisition Specialist to manage multiple acquisition efforts and support project management training and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct acquisition planning and strategy development, including market research and documentation support
- Generate and maintain databases for subcontracting actions and procurement requests
- Support the development of project/program managers through training and mentoring initiatives
Required Qualifications and Education
- Must possess a degree and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Certification Required: PMP or a comparable certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Must be a professional self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Experience in both traditional and Agile environments is desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel
