ACS Trauma Data Abstractor

Job Summary

To support remote registry operations, the part-time or full-time ACS Trauma Data Abstractor will be responsible for abstracting trauma data, adhering to project guidelines, and meeting productivity and quality standards for various case types.

Key responsibilities

• Abstract trauma data following project guidelines and industry specifications
• Maintain current knowledge of abstraction requirements and consult with management for clarifications
• Complete registry operations tasks and meet defined quality and productivity standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one year of current abstraction experience for ACS Trauma
• Completion of Trauma ICD 10 Coding Course
• Completion of Trauma Registry Course
• Completion of AAAM AIS Coding Course
• Preferred certifications include CAISS/CSTR and RN, RHIA/RHIT, CPHQ
