Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Loss and LAE reserves and recommend revisions in rates for personal and commercial auto insurance
• Identify and analyze data trends and perform actuarial analysis to support rate filings
• Collaborate with various departments and support the actuarial team through data querying and automation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred with a minor in mathematics or related field
• Must have passed at least three Casualty Actuarial Society exams
• One year of experience in an actuarial role
• Experience using SQL, VBA, SAS, or similar programming languages
• Commitment to ongoing educational development in the actuarial field
