Job Summary
Supporting pricing, valuation, forecasting, and healthcare economics, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst will perform actuarial research, calculate premiums and reserves, and provide analytic support to various departments while participating in the Actuarial Development Program.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses to support pricing and reserving
- Calculates premiums and reserves for new and existing insurance plans, while validating data for rate filings and actuarial models
- Communicates filing status to stakeholders and executes control activities to support Enterprise Risk Management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 2+ years of relevant actuarial experience, with consideration for related experience
- Completion of at least 3 exams towards the ASA designation
- Experience in short-term reserving is preferred
- Willingness to participate in the Actuarial Development Program
