Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Conducting analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst will apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to health calculations, particularly focusing on dental plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develops probability tables based on statistical data analysis
• Assists with modeling and identifies appropriate data sources for analysis
• Gains exposure to complex tasks within the actuarial function

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
• 0-3 years of experience in health insurance or consulting
• At least one actuarial exam passed
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and data extraction technologies like SQL
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and software for analyzing large datasets
