Job Summary
Conducting analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst will apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to health calculations, particularly focusing on dental plans.
Key responsibilities
- Develops probability tables based on statistical data analysis
- Assists with modeling and identifies appropriate data sources for analysis
- Gains exposure to complex tasks within the actuarial function
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
- 0-3 years of experience in health insurance or consulting
- At least one actuarial exam passed
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and data extraction technologies like SQL
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and software for analyzing large datasets
