Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Actuarial Analyst will update medical margin models, analyze market trends, and prepare audit documentation to support financial processes and business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Update medical margin models for monthly close processes and budget forecasts
• Identify drivers of prior period development and provide insights into emerging market trends
• Prepare audit documentation and perform analyses to support ad hoc requests from Market Finance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant actuarial experience within a healthcare or managed care organization
• 2+ actuarial exams passed
• Experience with Medicare Advantage products preferred
• Proficient in Excel and SQL, with the ability to manipulate large data sets
