Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing and evaluating future financial risks, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst will contribute to product pricing, prepare rate filings, and communicate analytical results to guide decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Completes and interprets actuarial analysis, valuations, and modeling using statistical programming and financial theory
• Prepares rate filings and pricing analysis, and assists with the completion of rate filing documents for all states
• Maintains and updates existing models and tools, completing ad hoc reporting as necessary

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to pass actuarial exams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
