Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic actuarial rotational program, the remote Actuarial Analyst will perform quantitative analyses, develop analytical models, and partner with business leaders to support financial performance and strategic decision-making in the Medicare Advantage sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analyses for financial forecasting, medical cost analysis, and risk adjustment initiatives
• Develop and maintain analytical models using actuarial principles and large healthcare datasets
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate complex analytical findings to support business planning

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare finance, analytics, or a related field
• Successful completion of one or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams
• Experience in Medicare Advantage or managed care preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Python and business intelligence platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights
