Job Summary
Joining the Actuarial Development Program, the full-time Actuarial Analyst will perform actuarial research, statistical analyses, and modeling while gaining exposure to various actuarial career paths in a hybrid work environment in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Key responsibilities
- Compile and categorize data for actuarial studies and projects
- Assist in preparing financial statements, premiums, reserves, and other actuarial information
- Input data and run pricing, reserving, or asset/liability models
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Completion of at least 1 actuarial exam
- Previous internship experience in actuarial science or a related field
- Active participation in the Actuarial Student Program, pursuing additional exams for FSA
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
