Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Actuarial Analyst I will perform individual project tasks, execute calculations of moderate complexity, and analyze actuarial data to support various financial and operational analyses.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and organizes actuarial and operational data for analyses, preparing reports and models as needed
- Participates in special studies and ad hoc analyses, making recommendations based on actuarial assumptions
- Prepares accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 0-2 actuarial exams passed and 0-2 years of health actuarial experience preferred
- Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and probability
- Ability to evaluate large data sets using models and tables
- Strong understanding of business and financial concepts
