Job Summary
Supporting actuarial and data analytics for risk-adjusted business, the full-time Actuarial Analyst II will analyze risk scores, financial impacts, and performance metrics while developing insights to guide risk adjustment strategy and forecasting efforts in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform actuarial analytics on risk-adjustable lines of business, including ACA, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid
- Support CMS-HCC and HHS-HCC risk score projections and analyze financial impacts
- Conduct data analytics and reporting to inform risk adjustment operations and vendor performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years of actuarial and/or statistics experience or attainment of Associate level in the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Working knowledge of Excel; experience with SAS or other programming languages preferred
- Knowledge of data analysis and actuarial principles
- ASA candidate status is a plus
