Job Summary
Focusing on Commercial Trend Forecasting, the full-time Actuarial Analyst II will support the evaluation of benefit and cost-sharing changes, conduct pricing studies, and analyze the impact of legislative changes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development of Commercial Trend Forecasting and evaluate financial impacts of proposed changes
- Conduct pricing analyses for various product lines and support additional actuarial projects as assigned
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and collaborate with internal stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of two years of actuarial, statistical, or healthcare analytics experience
- Progress toward Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation is highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, or Python preferred
- Working knowledge of actuarial concepts and statistical methodologies preferred
