Actuarial Analyst II
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Actuarial Analyst II will perform pricing, underwriting support, reserving, and forecasting for Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss, as well as Level Funding, while also engaging in trend analysis and data collection.
Key responsibilities
- Design and support trend analysis and forecasting efforts
- Perform pricing and underwriting support for new business and renewal pricing decisions
- Develop pricing models and analyze data for financial and utilization reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Actuarial work or statistics
- Progress towards an ASA designation is highly preferred
- Experience with Level Funded products and medical Stop Loss or Reinsurance products is preferred
- Expert knowledge of Excel and familiarity with analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, or Power BI
