Job Summary
Supporting the newly created No Surprises Act actuarial team, the full-time Actuarial Analyst II will focus on data management, analytics, and process ownership while developing actuarial forecasts, reserves, and financial analyses related to federal NSA activity in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support actuarial workstream for NSA, including forecasts, reserve estimates, and financial impact assessments
- Partner with various teams to gather, validate, and interpret data for NSA financial analysis and reporting
- Create recurring reporting packages summarizing NSA trends, financial impacts, and operational developments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years of actuarial and/or statistics experience or attainment of Associate level in the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Expert knowledge of Excel and advanced proficiency with SAS
- Experience with trend analysis, actuarial forecasting, and reserves
- Knowledge of NSA regulations is preferred
