Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Actuarial Analyst III will perform advanced actuarial analyses, forecasting, financial modeling, pricing, and reporting activities to support key business decisions across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze financial, claims, membership, and utilization data to support actuarial studies and business initiatives
- Perform trend analyses and forecasting related to healthcare costs, utilization, and financial performance
- Develop and enhance actuarial pricing models and support product pricing and financial evaluations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- 4+ years of actuarial and/or statistics experience or attainment of Associate level in the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Expert knowledge of Excel; working knowledge of Access or other database applications preferred
- Knowledge of data analysis and actuarial principles
- Experience with SAS or other programming languages is a plus
