Job Summary
To support impactful analysis for medical cost improvement strategies, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst III will analyze healthcare claims data, develop financial models for value-based programs, and present findings to leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce detailed actuarial and financial models to facilitate corporate decision-making regarding value-based programs
- Analyze healthcare claims cost and utilization trends to define savings methodologies for various provider arrangements
- Forecast financial results and identify medical cost improvement opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in actuarial work within health insurance or managed care
- Actively pursuing ASA and/or FSA certification by the Society of Actuaries
- Completion of 4 or more actuarial examinations
- Preferred completion of Validation by Education Experience (VEE) credits in relevant subjects
