Actuarial Analyst with SOA Exams

Job Summary

Focused on actuarial services for enterprise products, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst with SOA Exams will analyze financial and statistical data to assist in pricing, reserving, forecasting, and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes financial, statistical, and mathematical data to perform actuarial calculations and assist in determining pricing and reserves
• Prepares and distributes reports for decision-makers while responding to inquiries and maintaining deadlines
• Provides analytic support for Enterprise projects and updates rating model factors to reflect current experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field, or two actuarial exams in lieu of a degree
• Minimum three successfully completed Society of Actuaries exams
• At least one year of actuarial experience, preferably in healthcare
• Intermediate experience with relational databases and statistical packages
